Component 1 Rehearsal and Recorded Performances

Devised performances developed during Summer term of  Year 10

Component 1 Portfolio draft submission

18th October

Deadline to submit completed draft – all 6 questions

Students will have timetabled lessons but should also work on this at home – Google Docs

Component 1 Portfolio final submission

Final date for completed portfolio: 13th December.

Students will be given written feedback on their draft and will have timetabled lessons to finalise the portfolio.

Component 2 Preparation and text allocation

December onwards (approx.)

Groups and texts to be agreed during this time

Component 2 Extra Rehearsals

One day in February half term (depending on student take-up/staff availability)

All day by arrangement with teacher

Component 2 Exam Rehearsal time

Monday 2nd/Tuesday 3rd March (provisional)

All day – one day per group

Wednesday 4th March (provisional – subject to confirmation by exam board)

All day – individual student performance times allocated later

Component 3 Study of Set text (‘An Inspector Calls’)

Component 3 Theatre trip

(All students must see a live theatre production)
