Chartwells philosophy is Eat, Learn, Live which ensures we educate young people about how to lead a happy, safe and healthy lifestyle while contributing to a sustainable world.
The aim is to set the students up for their day, and for a lifetime of good eating habits. Ensuring every student has the same opportunity to develop and make a positive contribution at school, by having access to fresh, healthy and great tasting meals that are nutritionally compliant with school food standards.
Chartwells nutritionists and award winning development chefs design and create food ranges that look and taste good that have been inspired by the High Street and in doing so supports British farmers.
This food style offers students individual destinations enabling them to explore tastes from around the world. The options include:
Global Adventures: Fantastic dishes with international flavours, a different country’s cuisine each day.
Street Food: Choose from the Deep South Diner or Wings & Things concepts.
Speedy Italian: Handmade, stone-baked pizza or steaming pots of pasta.
Food to Go: Hot and cold take away snacks, sandwiches, salads, desserts and drinks.
Student feedback is invaluable to preparing interesting dishes that are based around what they like to eat, and so their opinions will be sought during the year to ensure they continue to enjoy the food ranges being provided.
