Environment

At Soham Village College we are proactive in tackling a number of environmental issues.

We have initiatives in place to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill and to encourage recycling by both students and staff. Through regular assemblies, we highlight current issues and set challenges to the school community to reduce our impact on the environment. We have carefully chosen a waste management company so we can be assured our waste is being responsibly disposed of and that we recycle as much as we can. We continue to look at ways to bring about sustainable and lasting change and make sure our school community plays its part in preserving our planet.

We have a student led environmental group called 'Future Group' who work tirelessly to find ways to raise awareness for environmental issues and work with the school to implement change.
