Hello and welcome to all parents and carers of prospective Soham Village College students, and thank you for considering us as the setting for your child’s secondary education.

We appreciate that this is a hugely important decision and we will provide you with the information you need on this webpage and the open events we are excited to be able to offer this year.

Open Evening 2025: Thursday 25 September, 6.00 - 8.00pm

We are really looking forward to welcoming families to the school site to meet many of our fantastic staff and students and tour our facilities.

The evening will also feature a talk by our Headteacher, Jon Hampson, and a number of our students, who will give their views on the school. This presentation will take place in our wonderful Performing Arts Centre auditorium and if you would like to attend, please reserve places for your family at one of the two showings (6.00pm or 6.45pm), by clicking the link below:

There will be limited car parking available on the school site during the evening. These parking spaces can be booked on a first come, first served basis by following this link (please book one space per vehicle):

Other car parks located in the school’s vicinity include Clay Street car park and Fountain Lane car park.

Open Morning Tours 2025

As in previous years, we will also be offering tours of the school, led by a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Places for these will be limited, so we encourage you to return to this section of the webpage when the booking system goes live on Monday 29 September.
