Teacher of History
Required from September 2022: an enthusiastic teacher of History to join a dynamic and collaborative faculty. This position has become available due to the career progression of the current post holder. The school is oversubscribed and enjoys a considerable reputation in the local area for its academic excellence and caring ethos.
In December 2016, Ofsted described the way in which the school promotes students’ personal development and its work to support students as outstanding. Ofsted also identified “a culture of academic excellence” which is consistently reflected in the school’s GCSE results.
There is a strong culture of teaching and learning in the school and staff value highly the continuing professional development and research opportunities available. Ofsted praised the “good opportunities for staff to develop professionally” and commented that “staff are highly positive about the training they receive.”

Salary range: £25,714 - £41,604. Salary is dependent upon qualifications, skills and experience.
