Supply Teacher, Casual Contract

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Supply Teacher, with a focus on PE, to join our successful faculty.

Soham Village College is a splendid place to work. Our students are hardworking and ambitious, with a most recent progress 8 score of +0.61. Ofsted observed in their recent visit, that ‘in addition to learning the curriculum and achieving highly in examinations’, our students become ‘active, considerate, and resilient young people’ who ‘behave very well in and out of the classroom’.

There is a collaborative and supportive culture in the school and staff value highly the continuing professional development and research opportunities available. Ofsted noted that staff ‘are well supported in their work and that they enjoy working at the school’. There are varied opportunities for career progression for staff at all levels.

Hourly rate £28 – £44 (based on FTE salary range £28,000 - £43,685), dependent upon qualifications, skills and experience.  Pay award pending.
